I got my WSPs Iced Tea Twist FO, and almost passed out, when I uncapped the bottle. Let me just say I am SO glad I got an 8oz bottle, cuz this is gonna be in my top five (5) favorites! It smells STUPID good!

I was prepared to be disappointed. I was ready for a “plastic”, fake tea scent. What I got instead was an intense craving for a tall glass of just brewed iced tea, after my initial sniff.

I was so geeked, I HAD to soap it tonite. I just got done. It’s in the mold, “brewing” as I type. Let’s hope the scent holds tight, thru the nite. Stay tuned…

Okay.  I don’t usually buy soap, with swirls, because I don’t really like swirls. But I had to attempt a swirl, cuz that’s what a wannabe soapmaker has to do. It looks like a mess, to me — but it smells GREAT!  Oodles of bubbly lather. 10% Sal butter. Nice.

I used too much colorant. It’s supposed to be “Sky Blue”. It’s too dark. Read all about the fun I had, making this soap!

 Now, back to layers and embeds!

Yep, we’re about to do it again! The Mother’s Day swap was a HUGE success. We’re still trying out all our goodies. The swap is open to community members only (visitors can’t view the swap board), and the deadline to sign-up is June 30th — if we reach the 10 participants limit, before the deadline, the sign-up form will no longer accept submissions.
