What’s Next?

Well, I’m gettin’ ready to make my soap, for The Soapmaking Chronicles’ very first SWAP! It’s for Mothers’ Day, and I’m struggling with what to make. I’m thinking about a nice “fruity floral”, colored in peach and green.

I’m going with a new recipe I made up. Not sure if that’s such a good idea :dunno ? But hey, I’m a little…adventurous!

Sweet Orange Soap

This is what you said I should make (it was clear to me that the Sweet Orange would eventually win), so I did!  It’s my DELICIOUS, orangey-good, orange soap. It’s scented with an FO/EO blend, and it smells…wonderful!

What’s in it: Saponified Coconut Oil, Olive Oil (Pomace), Rice Bran Oil, Soybean Oil, Palm Oil, Mango Butter, Castor Oil, Goatsmilk, Orange Peel Powder, Fragrance Oil and Essential Oil.

Belgian Chocolate Soap 2

This is the same soap, after 10 days of curing time. The smell is…unbelievable. I wish you could smell it. Really. It smells like a chocolate fudge brownie. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I want to eat this soap.

Looking for a great chocolate fragrance oil? Do try The Scent Works’ Belgian Chocolate. Oh my!
