Emporium Naturals

One of the members of TSMC, recommended the Herb Colorants. I’m slow to get started with coloring soap, because I’m really trying to keep the “artificials” to a minimum. I’m still struggling with FO’s vs EO’s.

At first I was on the “No Fragrance Oils!” trail. But hey, I absolutely love scents and there’s just too many possibilities with FO’s.  As much as I would love to spend time becoming an EO blend wizard, I just can’t see it right now.  So, I backed down. I don’t think I’ll back down on the artificial colorant position.

Anyway, I checked out the site, and I’m in love with the soft (but not faint), earthy, natural look of her colorants. They seem uncomplicated and instructions on how to get the color results you see on the site are included.

:smile I’ve added them to my January “Must Order” list.

Merry Christmas!

For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace

Isaiah 9:6

Remember the greatest “gift” ever given: Redemption for a sinful people, from a loving, compassionate God. He really is the “reason for the season”. See ya’ after Christmas!

:heart Peace and blessings,

Italian Cocoa Powder

This is a christmas :present, from a friend! Now, of course I’m going to make some hot cocoa. But you know I HAVE to soap with it. I’m thinking of trying The Scent Work’s Coconut Cardamom Custard, for one of the layers. Not sure what I’m gonna do yet, but it should be quite yummy!
